Morven's Letter

Morven Welsh has written a letter describing how she feels about the possibility that her Network might be disbanded. She has given her
permission to circulate this letter widely to any interested party. The original letter is reproduced below, with a transcript of the whole letter following.

When I got the letter from Neighbourhood Networks this morning it upset me to hear this bad news. Neighbourhood Networks shouldn’t be closed down because it is also a great network, to meet new people and the staff help you with money problems and house hold. If it didn’t some of the members will have difficulty to do their household and money problems. I will not manage with my money problems and if I got a flat there will not be anyone without the neighbourhood network to help me with all of that stuff. All of the staff and members are disappointed about what you are doing to the neighbourhood network. How can you do this to disabled adults who have got lots of help from the network. Some members will really not manage with their house and budget their money. All of the staff are really good to help with the problems like money and house hold and also helped with my family problems and relationships and friendships.Morven Welsh
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD NETWORK SHOULD BE OPEN AFTER 11TH FEB 2010."
