Council Decides to Sustain Funding

At a meeting of the full Council in Lochgilphead on Thursday 11 February, Argyll and Bute Council reversed its previous intention to withdraw funding from Neighbourhood Networks.  Having listened to representations from Marion Ballentyne, John Dalrymple and Steven Henderson on behalf of Neighbourhood Networks, the Council Leader, Cllr Walsh, moved a motion to keep our funding within the budget for next year, and this was accepted by the whole Council.  A good day for Neighbourhood Networks in the Argyllshire sunshine.
