Ian Arthur & Ann Doherty represent Neighbourhood Networks

Neighbourhood Networks were asked to go along to Thistle’s conference on ‘making connections’ on March 29th.  The Conference was organised for all of the people who use Thistle services, their families, and staff. The purpose of the conference was to inform all of these people what is available to enhance their lives and which organisations, like Neighbourhood Networks, are around to help with this.

With so many people attending the day Neighbourhood Networks were asked to give two presentations on what services we offer and just how the organisation works. After John & Rachel gave a brief slideshow about Neighbourhood Networks, Ian Arthur and Ann Doherty stepped up to the mike. They then gave a mock interview of each other giving examples of what being associated with Neighbourhood Networks means to them.

The workshops went very well and we hope that in the near future Neighbourhood Networks will begin some work alongside Thistle to develop a network or two within Edinburgh. So watch this space and well done Ian & Ann.
