NEW PARTNERS IN PRAGUE AND BRATISLAVA

Our chairperson, Pat Black, has been instrumental in bringing about a new a new partnership between Neighbourhood Networks, Diversity Matters and two organisations in Eastern Europe.
Over the next two years we will be involved in a programme of shared learning and exchange visits with Agentura podpornych sluzieb from Slovakia; and Quip – Spolecnost pro zmenu from the Czech Republic.

Agentura podpornych sluzieb (“agency support services”) www.nkh.sk is based in Bratislava and provides a range of supported accommodation service.
Quip – Spolecnost pro zmenu (“quality in practice – association for change”) www.kvalitavpraxi.cz is a campaigning and advocacy organisation based in Prague.
Funding for this partnership has been obtained through Grundtwig www.grundtvig.org.uk, part of the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme.
During August we will be trying to identify Network Members and members of staff interested in sharing experiences and gaining new learning through this project.
