Neighbourhood Networks transforms the lives of vulnerable people in local neighbourhoods by supporting each other to live independently in their own homes, to find their potential and follow their dreams.
Neighbourhood Networks received their latest Care Inspectorate Housing Support Service report after an inspection during January 2019 and are delighted to keep their top mark results as follows:
Quality of care and support – 6
Quality of management and leadership – 6
Neighbourhood Networks members reported that they were confident they had been listened to by staff. They play an active part in the development and review of their support plans to ensure it is right for them and set out how their needs, goals and wishes would be met. People felt their views were listened to and this also made them feel respected and valued.
Throughout the individual members journey people were recognised as experts in their own experiences, needs and wishes. Members liked the ‘Planning wheel’ documentation that is used to give a visual picture of their progress towards their goals.
Heather Calvo, Director at the charity commented, “We are delighted to continue to maintain our excellent inspection results for our care and support and achieve a 6 for management and leadership. We welcome our inspection and would like to thank our members who completed the questionnaire in advance of the inspection highlighting what Neighbourhood Networks means to them as well as our staff team for continuing to provide a high quality support service out in our local communities.”
