Angela Ferns

Hi I am Angela and I am the Community Living Worker for East Renfrewshire. I am excited for my new role, and love Neighbourhood Networks ethos of social inclusion and empowering members to be independent.

I have worked in Social Care for over 25 years. I have a Post Graduate in Advanced Residential Childcare and BSc in Sports Coaching.  I have experience in different settings such as after school care, sports coaching, homelessness, mental health, addiction, ASN and residential childcare.I play 5 aside football with a cracking bunch of ladies.

I love to keep active by being in the great outdoors, walking, swimming, cycling or hiking.  I am an animal lover and have a beautiful black cat called Mackenzie.  I like to travel and spend time with family and friends.
