Every week I am inspired by seeing colleagues and members grow, develop and contribute.
I have had a background is supporting people with disabilities since 1992. After travelling, I studied Social Work at Edinburgh University and then worked in Community Care in the City. A friend told me about a new organisation that could give me new experiences and freedom to develop so I applied for a job as Network Manager. That was way back in 2003 and I have had various roles and experiences since then before becoming the CEO.
The passing of years has been considerable but every week I am inspired by seeing member and colleagues grow, develop and make a difference and that is what motivates me to carry on making my own unique contribution to Neighbourhood Networks. I can genuinely say it’s both a pleasure and privilege to do what I do.
