Network Manager - Stirling/Falkirk
I started with Neighbourhood Networks in July 2022 after working for 3 years with the Royal Voluntary Service providing support for older vulnerable people and people with disabilities and 5 years with North Lanarkshire Council as a Technical officer for the three country parks in that area which hosted events throughout the year, I’m currently an independent board member with Active Stirling and have coached in schools across Forth Valley for Scottish Rugby Union and I prided myself in ensuring that our sports facilities are accessible and inclusive for everyone. I passionately believe that everyone has a right to live a happy, rewarding life and to feel respected and included. Neighbourhood Networks works tirelessly in an individualised way to support this, and I am delighted to be on board.
I moved to Scotland 27 years ago from Germany and have two Children (Young adults now 😉) plus two dogs who keep me busy! I love living in Scotland (same as Ireland really) because of the beautiful countryside and coastline –I can lose myself in watching and talking about rugby so beware and I can play most sports (how good is a different matter) and yes, I have kissed the Blarney stone so I can talk for Ireland.
