North Lanarkshire Members travelled to Edinburgh by train this week to visit The National Museum of Scotland. They also enjoyed lunch and went shopping.

Members provided peer support to each other in small groups. This outing gave members an opportunity to work on independent travel and money management skills. It encouraged the formation of natural friendships, and improved members’ confidence, health and wellbeing.

Members enjoyed their day out and were very grateful for the fundraised money which allowed them to go. The money was kindly donated by the Provost and Councillors in North Lanarkshire, which they raised at their festive event.
