Neighbourhood Networks member J had been in and out of hospital, but just wanted to be able to join in with the Zoom groups, and due to his visual impairment, he generally struggles with devices. He also found that typing on a phone was just too fiddly for him and wanted an easier way to do it without having to make phone calls all the time.

He was supported to use voice messaging on SMS and WhatsApp texting, as he uses SMS to stay in touch with his friends, and WhatsApp for the network. He was also supported to download Zoom onto his iPad, but needed his Apple ID to use it, so he has tasked himself with sorting that out and getting onto at least one Zoom session before his next meet with the Digital Co-Ordinator.
