Forge and Equip
Tranent
Members from Tranent enjoyed a three session workshop with the organisation Forge and Equip at the Frazer Centre in Tranent. Forge and Equip is a creative social enterprise that combines practical training opportunities with bespoke fabrication in East Lothian.
The members learned about the potential work opportunities that learning a skill like welding can bring. They also developed some woodwork skills and learned how to use the different tools.
The members designed and made their own wooden boxes. They are thoroughly enjoying new skills and are looking forward to the next workshop.
