West Dunbartonshire Health and Wellbeing Activity

Members from West Dunbartonshire got together at Awestruck Academy to create some pizza heaven, a great example of building life skills, money management and peer support!

They worked individually and as part of a team to identify the ingredients they would need to build their own pizza from scratch. They set themselves a budget and then split into two groups. One group headed to Asda to buy all the ingredients while the other group stayed behind to set out all the utensils for making their pizza. The kitchen was like a hive of industry as the members moved around safely choosing their preferred toppings. Once this was done it was into the oven for 12 minutes and then it was pizza heaven for lunch! The members also learned about food safety and kitchen hygiene.
