Skills
Essential
Interpersonal and communication skills such as to work effectively with Network Members, Community Living Workers, CEO, colleagues, Neighbourhood Networks Board Members, funding bodies and other related agencies.
 
Presentation skills.
 
Written skills to provide succinct reports for the line manager, funding agencies and Neighbourhood Networks Board.
 
Ability to work co-operatively and manage and prioritise own workload and conflicting pressures on your time.
 
Ability to see projects through from inception to completion.
 
Ability to work on own initiative without close supervision.
 
Ability to use Office 365 including its functions (e.g outlook, teams, power point) and other digital platforms including zoom.

Demonstrate understanding of the issues faced by people with learning disabilities, people who are neurodivergent and people who experience poor mental health seeking to live more independently in their own homes and community.
 
Knowledge of Person-Centred Approaches and support planning.

At least two years’ experience of supervising or managing staff
 
At least two years’ experience of working with people with additional support needs.
 
Experience of using numerical skills to control a small budget
 
Experience of work in collaboration with statutory agencies.

If not already qualified to SVQ level 4 or relevant qualification, then a commitment to attaining an SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care within the specified timeframe set by the SSSC. This will be supported by the organisation.
